Blue Bio Value awarded 3 startups and has just released a promo video for the 2nd edition beginning in 2019

Hoekmine, SEAentia and Undersee were the winners of the 1st edition of Blue Bio Value, having been recognized as the startups that shown better performance, innovation and potential to grow their business in Portugal.

The Blue Bio Value (BBV) is the first Portuguese accelerator that scales up marine biobased solutions to global market applications in different industries. Bluebio Alliance is one of the partners of the program, playing a major role in the evaluation of the applications/interviews, support during the bootcamps and in the final selection.

The winners of the 1st edition were awarded with a 15,000€ voucher, promoted by the Oceano Azul Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, to be used on the Blue Demo Network platform.

Blue Demo Network

The Blue Demo Network was launched in the BBV final event, and brings together, in a single and easy access point, a series of infrastructures and services in Portugal, suitable for blue tech based startups and SME’s and therefore contributing to make Portugal a hub for blue based entrepreneurs.
