Capacity Building Program

The capacity-building programme integrated under I3-4-BLUE-GROWTH aims to equip regional stakeholders and SMEs with technical, business, and investment readiness expertise based on knowledge exchange by experts on the selected topics and it will provide examples of best practices and advances in the target sectors. 

The project focuses on two specific value chains: a) sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, and valorisation of blue resources; 2) renewable marine energy and maritime decarbonization aiming to transferring knowledge and good practices.

By defining relevant topics that can support the project promoters on technical, business and investment readiness, four workshops were designed to increase know-how and capabilities towards interregional innovation investment projects. The capacity-building programme is supported with educational material and counted with experts/mentors in the fields : technical, business, and investment readiness.
